Guest Comments: It was muskie Bob's last trip to Meggesi ending a span of 31 years to Meggesi. He was rewarded with his largest muskie catch of 50 inch silver muskie. Life is good... Another 37 incher would be had along with enough memories to fill a scrap book. Four better fishing buddies could not be found... I cannt believe the trip is over so quickly. I am going to miss coming here with Muskie Bob. Too many northerns to count. I will always hold Meggesi in my memories & crew of friends (Muskie Mike, Cookie Hovis, & Backwood Bob) in a good place.

Guest Comments: The weather was warm (80 degrees) but windy everyday. Each day of fishing got better as we found where the walleyes gathered & what they were feeding on. Most were in water 5-10 feet deep off rocky bottoms. Lake has many underwater rock areas that are dangerous for boats, but great for fishing. Many walleye in the 18-21" size. Caught on mostly 1/8 oz jigs (pink & white grub tails worked best) The pike are everywhere. Avg. pike 24-30". The camp accomidations rival the local Holiday Inn. Everyone had a great time.
