Guest Comments: Our 3rd year in a row to hunt moose at Wright, 1st year not to kill an animal. Lots of rainy cold weather, had snow in the air one day. Lowest water levels this year compared to other years making into the other lakes very tough. Did well fishing when we did fish.

Guest Comments: Walleyes tougher to find than normal years. Catch 10-15 in 1 place then had to move and keep doing that. Walleyes ran bigger than normal too, Avg 20-23 inches. Caught more than normal for northerns, many mid 30 inch class pike. Saw 1 northern that was huge but never caught him. Weather up to the day we left very nice, into the 80's everyday with out alot of wind. Good time, will be back next year.

Ducks were enjoying an exceptional rice harvest. Moose, eagles, otters, and loons kept us company. Another wonderful trip!

Reefs & points all held good numbers of fish. Far East bay of lake, caught walleye on no apparent structure, but over clouds of baitfish in 15' - 18' of water.

Guest Comments: Big lake, head up the lake-find a good point and catch walleyes to the hearts content and afew northerns. Jig the bottom or just off the bottom with worms. 5 pound walleye was the largest, many 2 1/2 to 4 pound walleyes caught. Great cabin, Great week!

Guest Comments: Everything was first class. The flights,fishing and cabin. 8 year old had 60 walleyes in the first full day fishing. The fishing was excellent. Walleye avg. 21 inches. Larger northerns in avg than other trips to Fawcett. Biggest pike was 41 inch. This was a Great family get away. We will be back. Awesome trip not just for the men, but for the ladies too! They caught just as many fish as the men did!

The best overall spot was off the reef off the V shaped point, where it dropped down from 15'-35'. Caught around 24 walleyes over 20" there on jigs/spinner & worms.

Guest Comments: Walleye excellent on the portage below the falls. Good to excellent on the main lake in the narrows above the rapids, on the flats between the bays on the main body of water while trolling the major points. Fished all the way to the head waters of Zionz, where Springpole flows into Gull, where Zionz comes into Gull. Biggest pike caught where Zionz comes into Gull, 41 1/2 inches by Tim Lamar, biggest walleye of about 6 pounds, 26 inches caught by John Butcher. Lots of pike in the low to mid 30 inch class. Pike were numerous but slower compared to the walleye bite.

Guest Comments: 5th year to Dobie. Best year yet!! Exceptional fishing on the NW finger. 30-40 20 inch plus walleyes caught there. Caught a total of 200-225 walleyes fishing from 1030 am to 230 pm on August 4th. O yes, that was only 2 of us fishing at that time. Otherwise still spectacular walleye fishing at all our usual favorite spots! Boats, motors, cabin, and all facilities in excellent shape! Another wonderful trip and good time had by all!!!!

Guest Comments: Very comfortable cabin. Fishing was best around islands and points, and trolling worked the best. Fish hit on red, blue, and white lures. Rattle traps were consistant. Crawdad patterns in red and deep divers produced the biggest fish. Young Kevin wrote, it was the best time I ever had. I got 27 fish. Also was caught was a high lite, a 22 inch perch.

Guest Comments: Fishing was great, rain or shine, with a wide variety of fishing holes to choose from. Plenty of areas to fish with good results keeping out of the winds(lite & variable). Spots marked on the map are right on the money. Average walleye 16"-18" in 15'-20' of water, largest walleye 23". Total of about 600 walleye. Exceelent location of the cabin! All aspects were truly "Top Notch - A-1".

Sleeping on the ground doesn't work so well for me anymore, so their wilderness cabins provide a perfect way to continue to enjoy the wilderness. Caught a good number of bass, walleye, & northerns. Leeches worked very well.

Guest Comments: Another great trip with L&M! Very nice cabin & equipment. Super smooth flights. Fishing started slowly due to constantly changing weather, but improved significantly by last two days. We still caught 500+ fish in 3 boats. 20"-24" walleyes were plentiful, but our largest pike was only 30". Had one 30" walleye on and lost it at the boat. Our thanks to everyone at L&M for the great service.

Biggest fish for the trip was a 39 inch pike.

Guest Comments: Some people on this trip have been doing fly-ins for almost 20 years to Ontario and Quebec. This week we just came back from was by far the best fishing we have ever had. Numerous days where 2 to a boat would catch well over 100 (mostley walleyes). Biggest pike right close to 40 inches. Accomadations and equipment were great. Owners of L & M were great also.

Plenty of cooking utensils, solar power, and water. The outhouse was as good as a outhouse can be. Can't wait to come back! Biggest walleye caught was 26 inch by "dad".

Guest Comments: The walleye fishing was incredible. We caught fish on jig & minnows, bobbers & night crawlers, spoons, spinners and floating rapala's. The walleyes are golden and healthy and hungry. The excusions and remote will allow you the opportunity to get it away from it all and reflect while experiencing some of God's best handi-work. L & M's service, perfessionalism & friendliness helps to make this a trip of a life time. Cant wait to make it back. Biggest pike for the trip was 40 inches, biggest walleye was about 23 inches. Lots of age class's of fish caught during the trip.

Guest Comments: Solid fishing for walleye and small mouth bass. Most walleye were caught on leeches at the far end of High Rock portage. Excellent small mouth near islands. Jonathan (12) caught a 25 inch, appro. 6 pound, walleye on a live frog with a jig head on the High Rock portage. Thanks for the great trip!

Guest Comments: The walleye bite was excellent in the 10-13 feet of water jigging leeches off the rocky points. Most fish were 18-20 inches with a few 24++ inches. Northerns were slower with most found in 5-9 feet of water, in the mouths and large bays off the main body of water. Overall fishing was great!

Guest Comments: Another great trip to Fawcett Lake. The fishing was outstanding waith walleye stacked up in the fast water near the rapids in the inflow & outflow of the lake. Largest walleye was 28" and numerous over 25". Northern pike in the weeds off the points and in the bays. Largest pike was 43" waith many in the 30" class. L&M really took care of us with great flying in & out and a cabin with all the comforts of home. Thanks for the great service.

We caught plenty of walleye all around, with lots of pike but size was small for the pike. We did catch a 46 inch pike and 43 1/2 inch and lost 2 other big pike, with 1/2 doz around 30 inch. Biggest walleye 23-25 inch. We had a good trip with plenty of action and weather treated us OK for Canada. Thanks for the excellent service. We look forward to the next trip.

We caught a 37 1/2" lake trout Sunday afternoon. A large muskie was hooked, but got away. The biggest pike caught was 37 1/2". Great fishing. We will return.

Guest Comments: First 2 days hampered by high winds, limiting areas to shorelines close to the cabin. Next 3 days were warmer and calm. Fishing was phenomonal by the 2 inlet streams. One of the best fishing trips ever. Caught 2 36 inch pike and lost one even bigger. One was caught in the outlet river to the east and the other off a rocky island. Many walleye between 18-26 inches. Most quaility between 16-20 inches. Accomodations are among the best for large groups and familys. Shane's call sign should be "silk."

Portage lake Napanee held the largest and more numerous pike (largest being 36 1/2 inches) and several other large bass.
