Lake: Wright
Dates: 9/8-9/16/07
Group Name: Berendes
Guest Comments: The fishing was terrific. We caught alot of walleye in the 21-23 inch range. Some days we had to work to get pan sized walleye for eating. All the fish were to big to eat. One large northern caught while fishing for walleye, 46 inches. The cabin, boats, pilots, motors, etc were truely exceptional. Had alot of rain and wind, even had snow covering the ground during part of the trip. This was a great trip.

Lake: Fawcett
Dates: 9/7-9/14/07
Group Name: Fuhs
Guest Comments: Fishing was hot on days, cold on other days. Lots of walleye in the narrows at the south end. Had a great day making the loop around Gull and Zionz. Caught good walleye at the north end of Gull. Biggest pike 34 inch, walleye 22 inch. Cold weather, windy with rain and snow during the trip. Had a great time.

Lake: Dobie
Dates: 9/1-9/8/07
Group Name: Rose
Guest Comments: Great cabin, boats, motors, and all equipment--as usual. Walleye fishing very good. Best baits were rattle traps, in-line spinners, and some other crank baits. Lots of pike but not many big ones. All at L & M was helpful in taking care of our truck breakdown while we fished during the week. Great outfitter. We will be back again next year.

Lake: Wright
Dates: 9/4-9/8/07
Group Name: Hanson
Guest Comments: Solid northern fishing. Mostly medium sized northerns. Walleye fishing spotty on Wright. Very good on Strout. Low water in river made for hard pull through the rapids. Cabin A-1.

Lake: Fawcett
Dates: 9/1-9/7/07
Group Name: Brautigan
Guest Comments: Size very good this year for walleye compared to other years. Pike also up for size wise. 12 year old Levi Knight from WV landed a 42 inch pike as well as 38 inch pike. Way to go Levi! Brian Brautigan also from WV caught a 27 inch walleye. Number were down but the size was way up this year. Good trip for sure.

Lake: Wright
Dates: 8/31-9/4/07

Lake: Dobie
Dates: 8/25-9/1/07
Group Name: Ware
Guest Comments: Fishing was good. Lots of walleye 14-22 inches, largest 23 1/2 inches. Northern avg 20-25 inches with the largest 38 1/2 inches. Many weather fronts in and out and fishing conditions changed frequently. Particulary cool for this time of year. Dobie is a great lake, easy to navigate and lots of hot spots!

Lake: Fawcett
Dates: 8/25-9/1/07
Group Name: Flowers
Guest Comments: Fishing was much better this year. Water levels up from normal. Wind was a factor this year. Many walleye greater than 18 inches. Largest walleye 26 1/2 inches. Largest pike 41 inches. Many in the 3-5 pound class. Thank you Larry and Mary.

Lake: Wright
Dates: 8/26-8/31/07
Group Name: Hoffmann
Guest Comments: 2 pike over 40 inches caught in 8-10 feet of water with weeds. Red and white dare devils, silver and white spinner baits. Had acouple other large pike on also but got a way. Walleye's trolling stick baits 5-6 in depth, minnows worked well till we ran out. Many 25-36 inch pike too count. Bring a good, big net. Depth finders really helped with locating the deep holes for walleye. Strout was alot of work to get in with the water levels.

Lake: Wright

Lake: Wright
Dates: 8/15-8/19/07

Lake: Otatakan

Lake: Fishtrap
Dates: 8/12-8/16/07
Group Name: Rosnow
Guest Comments: The smallies were awesome! Great fighters-biting on spinners mainly. Caught some walleye earily, or late, or cloudy (low light) times. Only a few northerns (enough to strip our rigs). Gulp and minnows for bait. Pink and white, green and chartreuse best colors for spinners/jigs. Bass up to 18 inches, walleye up to 24 inches.

Lake: Dobie
Dates: 8/9-8/16/07
Group Name: Patrongio

Lake: Wright
Dates: 8/8-8/15/07
Group Name: White Bull
Guest Comments: This was our 5th trip to Wright lake and was great as always. Could always catch fish somewhere. A family of eagles live on the 1st rock island west of the cabin. Rattle traps always work, not much action this year with buzz baits. We paid tribute to our fishing buddy Bill who has left us.

Lake: Fawcett
Dates: 8/4-8/11/07
Group Name: Meier
Guest Comments: Fawcett lake and the river above the falls as below the falls produced many periods of fast action for walleye and northern pike. Walleye were found in the lake from 8-43 feet of water. Earily morning times were consistantly excellent for catching big fish. Walleyes up to 25 inches and northerns up to 38 inches were caught. See you next year.

Group Name: Harnish
Guest Comments: Great facilities, good boats, great hosts. Caught many walleye up to 20 inches, northerns up to 30 inches. Walleyes were very "fat". Earily morning bite seem to be the best off the reefs, found fish just about everywhere. Great lake to relax and catch numbers. Would recommend Otatakan to families. Even one of our young guys caught fish while sleeping more than once.

Lake: Dobie

Weather ranged from HOT to cold and windy. Fish bite no matter what weather. Thanks Shane for the ice to go with the Captain Morgan. Love the fishing cleaning house too. Every year it just keeps getting better. Nice to see walleyes in all age classes. Yes, even down to my award winning 7 1/2 inch walleye for smallest fish! Also love the short flight from Dryden compared to Clearwater.

Lake: Wright
Dates: 7/27-8/3/07

No big northerns caught, largest 29 inches. Mainly fished for walleye. Portages were also good. We highly recommend L & M.

Lake: Fawcett
Dates: 7/28-7/31/07
Group Name: Reicks
Guest Comments: Fishing was fantastic. Caught hundreds of fish daily for the group. Walleyes hit great on both minnows and crawlers or even just yellow or orange jigs. The reefs and the river/falls were the hot spots. Our arms were tired in the afternoon because we caught so many fish!! Saw a 40 inch class northern in the river outlet.

Lake: Fishtrap
Dates: 7/27-7/31/07
Group Name: Broom
Guest Comments: Large smallmouth at the north end of the lake. We caught lots of smallies on green jig heads with either yellow or while Mr. Twisters. Walleye off the first island to the north about 50 yards off, caught them on the same kind of jigs. All the walleye were too big to eat. Northern we caught were everywhere and lots of them. The east portage lake had good walleye just to the right of where you portage in from and northern by the 3 islands.

Lake: Dobie

Dates: 7/20-7/27/07
Group Name: Thompson
Guest Comments: Outstanding pike and smallie fishing. Walleye slow because of the hot weather. Many pike 27 inches. Smallies up to 18 inches (4 pounds). Did not fish Highrock lake. Only fished Fishtrap. Best places to fish is around the islands. On hot days kids jumped off the dock hundreds of time. Had a great time!! Will do it again...

Lake: Wright
Dates: 7/16-7/20/07
Group Name: Gray
Guest Comments: Wright lake is what it says. It is the Right Lake. If you have been here before then you know why you come back. If you dont catch a lot of 18-21 inche walleye plus northern and other walleye, then you are using the wrong end of the pole. There are 26-30 inch class walleye there too.

Consistent late spring walleye, only slowed by the constant weather changes and the next day would be good again. A "grouse" week, Aussie for "spectacular".

Spinner baits worked well in weedy area's, and crankbaits worked well around rock ledges. If you make the hike, Upper Fishtrap has phenominal fishing for both walleye and pike. Caught some big pike during the trip, caught 9-10 pound walleye on one of the portages and lost another good sized one.
